Inside the workshop.

The workshop
What you are looking at.
The workshop runs multiple hoists, which is the difference between a car being looked at properly and a car being looked at from above. Almost everything worth finding early, a split CV boot, a weeping water pump, a perished suspension bush, a corroded brake line, is only visible with the vehicle in the air.
The brake lathe in these photographs is why a brake shudder does not automatically mean new discs. If a disc still has material above its minimum thickness, machining it restores a flat, true surface for considerably less than replacement. Workshops without one tend to quote replacement every time.
The scan tool matters for the same reason. A fault code names a circuit, not a broken part, so reading live data and testing the component is what separates a diagnosis from a parts lottery. The refrigerant gauges are ARCtick-licensed work, recovering and recharging air conditioning properly rather than venting it and topping it up.
And the photograph of the family is the point of the whole business. You deal directly with the owner here, which means the person who explains the work is the person who did it.
